St. Luke's Wildcat Band
St. Luke’s offers band in 6th and 7th Grades at the University Campus and plans are in development for 5th Grade band at the Japonica Campus. The 6th and 7th Grade band meets two days a week in the Band Room on the University Campus. The band director is Mr. Mike Landry.
String instruction continues to be offered on both campuses and there are plans for performance opportunities involving the wind/percussion band and strings. We also have Chorus offered on the University Campus, and combined Wind/Strings/Choral performances are in our future plans. The Strings instructor is Mrs. Enen Yu; the Chorus Director is Mrs. Diane Swearingen.
To include students in other grades in the future growth of the band program, St. Luke’s is offering private music lessons on band instruments after school. For 8th and 9th Grade families who are interested, arrange lessons with Mr. Landry at mlandry@stlukesmobile.com or 666-2991, ext. 8403.

Our 6th/7th Grade band performs at football games. A Christmas performance is an annual event.
